This Privacy Policy explains how Fox Girl ("the Bot", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Bot within your Discord server ("Guild"). By inviting and using Fox Girl, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

1. Information We Collect

The Bot only collects the minimum amount of data necessary to provide its core features.

User Data

When a user interacts with certain authorization commands to link their accounts, we collect and store:

Discord ID: To identify you within Discord.
Anilist ID: To identify your associated Anilist account.
Anilist Access Token: To securely authenticate and perform actions on Anilist on your behalf.

Guild (Server) Data

When a server administrator interacts with announcement-related commands, we collect and store:

Guild ID: To identify the Discord server.
Guild Announcement Subscription: To know which channel and what type of announcements your server has opted into.

2. How We Use Your Information

The collected data is strictly used to facilitate the functionality of Fox Girl.

User Data is used to fetch and display your personal Anilist data or update your Anilist lists via Discord commands.
Guild Data is used to successfully route and deliver automated announcements to the correct channels in your server.
We do not sell, rent, or share your data with any third parties outside of the necessary API calls made to Discord and Anilist.

3. Data Retention and Deletion

You have full control over your data and can remove it from our database at any time using built-in Bot commands.

User Data Deletion: Users can completely delete their stored Discord ID, Anilist ID, and Anilist Access Token by running the /user unlink command.
Guild Data Deletion: Server administrators can completely delete their stored Guild ID and announcement preferences by running the /announcements disable command.
